Using your Yoga Mat

​Before you first use your new yoga mat, gently spray your mat with water or wet your hands and feet and rub the areas of your mat you predominantly use as this will ‘wear in’ your new mat and provide grip as you may slip because it hasn’t been used before. The more you use your mat the grippier it will become as the microsuede layer offers reactive grip.

​I recommend wetting your hands and feet or spraying your mat before each use for the first few weeks to ‘wear it in’ and initially provide grip.

​If you sweat alot during your yoga practice it is best to use a towel to absorb excess sweat. Even though our microsuede layer is designed to absorb sweat, once it has reached full absorbency it will release excess liquid and become squelchy.

Also give it a good wash and clean after to keep it clean and hygienic.

​What is my yoga mat made of?

Hippy Soul Yoga Mats are made of biodegradable natural tree rubber base with a luxurious microsuede top layer which is bonded using heat treatment. Designs are printed using Water Based Inks which are Non-Fade and UV resistant. There are No Phthalates, Latex, BPA, Silicon, Chlorine or Toxic Glues used. Our yoga mats are also Vegan Friendly.

What is the size of my yoga mat?

Our Yoga Mats are 173cm x 61cm and 4.5mm thick.

​How much does my yoga mat weigh?

Each yoga mat weighs between 2 – 2.5kg.

Why does my new yoga mat have an odour?

Even though our mats are made using natural tree rubber, non-toxic and biodegradable products and microsuede, initially your mat may have a rubber odour as it has been packaged up and unable to breathe. Hang your new yoga mat up for 24 hours to air and the odour will dissipate.

Damage or Loss

What if my order is damaged or lost in transit?

Hippy Soul Yoga do not take responsibility for lost or damaged items in transit. If you would like further information or assistance please contact us.

​Do you exchange and refund items?

We do accept returns / exchange of items and offer a refund only on faulty items. The item must be unused, unopened, still in the original undamaged packaging, and you must contact us within 30 days of date of purchase. We are unable to refund initial cost of postage and any return postage/ insurance costs, Due to health and hygiene regulations we cannot accept returns or refund items which have been used or opened. ​What if my item is faulty?

We inspect each yoga mat  thoroughly before posting to you. However if you do receive a faulty yoga mat we will gladly replace it. If you believe your yoga mat is faulty, email us within 14 days of receiving your order with a description of the item and  the fault, to be entitled to a replacement. Faulty items must be in original unused condition with packaging and labels.

​Payments

Why do you use Paypal?

We use Paypal as it is a safe and secure method of payment for both you the consumer and us as a business. Paypal also offers buyer protection so if there are any issues with payments, lost or damaged items and refunds they will help resolve them.

​Can i direct deposit?

Yes you can direct deposit. When you direct deposit you are not covered by buyer protection or insurance for your item as the transaction occurs outside of Paypal. Items will be posted after payment has cleared, depending on the bank it may take up to 48 hours.

​Can i use my credit card?

Yes you can use your credit card through paypal.
